PCRPG Demo 1.1c & Update

Hi all. Just a small bugfix and minor annoyance fixing update. Only for Windows and Web -- I just moved to a new drive and I can't be bothered to set up a Linux VM to compile for Linux and OSX right now. Sorry!

PCRPG Demo Version 1.1c
All Versions
- Changed the core engine scripts back to the defaults. I don't know why I ever changed them in the first place. Obviously this could result in a lot of bugs, but chances are this is going to fix a lot of bugs.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to delete a save file would crash the game.
- Catzaral can no longer miss herself with Charge.
- The touch screen overlay no longer appears for a split second when changing scenes. It still does this when the game is started when the first time, though.

Website
- Removed Kickstarter widget

Thanks to Norbert339 for reporting the save crash and Catzaral's charge being able to miss.

Also, here's a small update about the past and future of the game for those who care! I disappeared for like, five months after the Kickstarter failed to reach its funding. I don't want that to be misconstrued as me being disappointed or anything. I'm actually super impressed the project got the support that it did considering I have no past portfolio to speak of and came into this with absolutely no followers. Even though I failed, the fact that so many people were willing to pledge towards this project of mine validated me as a game developer, artist, composer, all that stuff.

So that being said, why did I end up disappearing? It was more of a way to distance myself from the game in order to focus on real life. At the time of the Kickstarter campaign I was unemployed and recently took a semester off of college to focus fully on making a playable and presentable version of the game. If the Kickstarter was successful, my plan was to use the money to find some modest housing (probably with a friend of mine online) and live an ascetic existence eating flat bread and drinking tap water while I battened down and made steady progress on the game for the next year or whatever. Maybe a little more glamorous than that.

When the Kickstarter ended in a failure, I had to rely on Plan B: getting a job. Having tried Plan B for a while, I gotta say it sucks balls and cock. But I have a consistent income now, and I'm slowly building up savings. I found it hard to dredge up the motivation to get back to work on the game with my now incredibly limited schedule and yeah. I didn't really see the point in trying to work on a project that would take much, much more time than I had to complete, especially because the demo is already kind of a fully playable experience. But in the end I realized that's just an excuse and the real reason I didn't want to update is because there was still this really annoying save bug that I couldn't figure out why the fuck it was happening and I didn't even understand the traceback like "unexpected token o at JSON index 1??" What the FUCK does that even mean? And oh okay I understand why it's broken now.

Should I have updated the Kickstarter, at least? Probably.  Should I have at least like. Existed? At all? In any capacity? Yeah. I'm not under the impression that it's a super big deal, but I'm sorry anyway. Especially to everyone who supported the Kickstarter and got left in the dark the day after the campaign was over. It was my responsibility to keep you posted and I let myself get caught up in the stresses of real life without taking a second to write a couple paragraphs.

What does the future of PCRPG look like now, five months later? I still want to make the game. I still want to finish the game. The next parts of PCRPG are honestly a "when," not an "if." Projected release date 2025.

(P.S. this will be posted on both the Kickstarter and the Itch page. So don't get too excited if you're following both.)
